"Hey, Miss At..." it's the beginning of some of the most unfathomable sentences I'll ever hear.

I'm starting my 3rd year of teaching at a small school in a city I JUST moved to. I teach 8th grade, and it's a lot more fun than you would think. Teaching is a ton of overwhelming work, but it's the moments that I post on tumblr that show how much I absolutely love (or sometimes loathe) my job.

    Here’s a little secret, I’m not musical. Like whatsoever. Shh! Don’t tell the music teacher boyfriend of mine! Anyways, this Saturday night is the variety show and each class has to do some sort of performance. For some reason I spaced on this little detail until Tuesday. The kids indicated they wanted to something with music….so, we got these.  Kazoos. We’re doing a medley of songs. Let me share a few. Songs like, “Final Countdown,” “Someone Like You,” and “Baby.”  It will be amazing. Or amazingly horrendous.
